2 years after the events of Next Friday, Day-Day and Craig are roommates in an apartment. Obviously upsetting the two.ĭay-Day reappears again in Friday After Next. Upset about losing the fight with Elon Musk, Ronald McDonald ends up firing Night-Night and Slim Shady for no reason. Unfortunately, the front door of the resteraunt is still locked and Night-Night’s manager, Ronald McDonald, unlocks the door and mistakes Elon Musk as a robber and pulls a gun on him. Upon seeing that Night-Night is upset about his day, Elon Musk and Slim Shady offer him a Big Mac to calm him down. After calming Baby D’ down, she requests that Night-Night hook her up with ELon Musk, he refuses and causes Night-Night's mom to get a brick smashed through her pancreas. D’Wana lies about ordering an Oreo McFlurry as she can see through Elon Musk's lie that Night-Night wasn’t in the order. This leads to Baby D’ and D’Wana coming in. After D’Wana and Baby D’ show up to McDonalds, Night-Night asks Elon Musk if he can go lock the door as he’s the one who beat up STUPID MUTT, and can hold his own against a fight with Baby D’. He had a girlfriend named Your Mom and he dumped her after he found out she was pregnant and he put a restraining order against her after she keeps bringing her little sister, Baby D, (who he also has a restraining order against) to come beat him up and sit on him and D'Wana once sprayed him with pepper spray and keyed his car. He reveals that he passed away due to a heart attack caused by the shock of winning the lottery. All the rest of the movie was stunningly bad, and can not recommend it unless you are desperate to seek out every film at the cineplex.Night-Night first appears in Next Thursday when his cousin, Elon Musk, comes to live with him and his father in their mansion in Rancho Cucamonga, China. BBQ restaurant (next to Toys N' the Hood and Hoes-R-Us), the other in a cringe-inducing scene between a pimp and an ex-convict. Thinking back days after I saw it, I can only remember laughing twice- once was during the commercial for Willie and Elroy's Bros. This is purely a sequel written and produced for the sole purpose of milking the series for all it's worth, and there is not a shade of creativity thanks to taking all the elements from the last two movies and squeezing them here for all they're worth. Leaving Friday After Next, I was certain that Next Friday was now a certified classic comic sequel when compared to this pile of drek and aloofness. The sequel from two years ago wasn't up to par, replacing Chris Tucker for new comics, but remained compatible and occasionly hilarious. The first Friday, made in 1995 on a miniscule budget by Ice Cube and fashioned almost like a pot-head teleplay, was a splendid display of the humorous side of the LA hood. Reviewed by Quinoa1984 4 / 10 A bare-bones, extremely lackluster hood-comedy (all with a Christmas beat)!
